The Music National Service Initiative (MNSi) is a new social enterprise dedicated to strengthening and expanding the field of music-based volunteerism and service. In August 2009, MNSi is launching a “musical Peace Corps” called MusicianCorps and a “music volunteer” network called MusicianMentors that will expand access to music education and improve youth achievement in disadvantaged public schools and communities.
